ED Advocate, League of Education Voters Newsletter, April 2015

Greetings

Chris Korsmo
Chris Korsmo, CEO

We're in the midst of a special session in Olympia, and we're counting on our legislators to finalize a budget that is more supportive of an education continuum—from early learning through higher education—than any other budget in our state's history. I invite you to write to your legislators and urge them to finish the work they started during the regular session. To keep up with the progress during this special session, please be sure you have our education bill tracker bookmarked.

Today is GiveBIG! Please help the League of Education Voters Foundation reach its GiveBIG goal by midnight tonight as you participate in this Day of Champions.

Looking ahead, the League of Education Voters is hosting a series of focus groups to discuss higher education and we invite you to participate. To learn more or sign up for a group, please contact our State Field Director Kelly Munn at kelly@educationvoters.org.

Thanks for all you do for kids. We couldn't do it without you.
