2020 Seattle Luncheon

Students at South Shore PreK-8

It’s the issue of our time – Building Equity in Our Education System. And we want YOU in the room!

This year, we are hosting an event focused on racial diversity and equity in education, one of the most critical issues of our time. We are asking you to join us as our keynote speaker Dr. Benjamin Danielson, Director of the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, explores the role of Equity, Diversity, Access, and Inclusion in a thriving public education system.

“He’s one of my favorite people in the whole world — a gentle, quiet soul who speaks so from the heart, and has the ability to move people to address issues of equity and social justice”

—  Patty Hayes, director of Public Health, Seattle & King County

Equity in Education: What Is Working

It’s the issue of our time – striving for equity in our education system. And we want YOU in the room.

League of Education Voters Foundation (LEV Foundation) works with families, educators, and leaders to build a brighter future for every Washington student by Putting Students First. We champion an equitable education system where all students have access to the right resources they need, at the right moment in their education, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, disability, language, sexual orientation, religion, family background, or family income.
