Black Education Strategy Roundtable
The Black Education Strategy Roundtable is an advisory group to the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs and is housed at the League of Education Voters. The Roundtable brings expert, diverse viewpoints to the education reform conversation in Washington State.

 

Dignity in Schools
The Dignity in Schools Campaign (DSC) is a national effort that challenges the systemic problem of pushout in our nation’s schools and advocates for the human right of every child to a quality education and to be treated with dignity. The DSC unites parents, youth, educators and advocates in a campaign to promote local and national alternatives to a culture of zero-tolerance, punishment and removal.

 

Early Learning Action Alliance
Early Learning Action Alliance’s mission is to ensure that every Washington child, starting at birth, has equitable access to the relationships, education, and opportunities needed to be healthy and ready to succeed by kindergarten.

 

Excellent Schools Now
Excellent Schools Now is a coalition of education, business and community-based organizations in Washington State working to achieve meaningful education reform that increases student achievement, closes the achievement gap and prepares students to be college and career-ready. The Coalition created the A+ plan as a road map to transform education in our state.

 

Our Schools Coalition
Our Schools Coalition is made up of nearly 40 Seattle-based organizations and community leaders united to express the community’s voice in teacher contract negotiations, to advocate for our children, and to support teachers as professionals.

 

PIE Network
Policy Innovators in Education (PIE) supports and promotes a national network of education advocacy organizations working to improve K-12 education in their states so that every student graduates world-ready. Nonpartisan in ideas and bipartisan in approach, PIE Network groups provide a consistent, evidence-based, and credible public voice in the process of education policy-making.

 

South Shore School
The League of Education Voters administers an annual grant to South Shore School, a Pre-K to eight grade school in South Seattle.
